2015 Conference

The 2015 WIOG conference will be held in Blenheim 6th to the 8th May. Details are currently being finalised so keep checking back for more details as they are signed off.

2014 Conference

Wow, these are only getting better. Almost 200 delegates attended the 2014 conference, with a wide range of excellent papers presented over the 3 days.

All of the awards this year were presented to the worthy winners after a record number of applications were received. The judging was very close in all categories. 

The winners from the left:

  • John Beale:  Best operators paper.
  • Damian Lawsen: Te Oranga Wai.
  • Phil MacDonald: Mentor of the year.
  • Russell Warlow: Operator of the year.
  • Doug Drinkwater: Best trade paper.
  • Ryan Laurenson: Young operator of the year.

MEMBERSHIP

Member status is available to any water industry employee. Additionally, any employee of any company supplying equipment and/or services for direct use in the water industry shall also be eligible to become a Member. For further information and a membership application form click on the link below.

Our membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March.

Annual Individual Member Fee $35.00 incl GST.

About Primary ITO

 

Water Industry Training is now operating under the Primary ITO brand, following the merger of Agriculture and Horticulture ITO in October 2012. Primary ITO is one of largest ITOs in New Zealand and provides leadership in education and training, develop national qualifications, maintain national standards and provide ongoing support for their trainees and employers. Primary ITO training is subsidised by industry and Government.
